Baruch
Originally self-published in 2012, Baruch is a collection of poetry born from prayer, hope, heartbreak, and healing — carrying the quiet assurance that God is always listening, even when life feels uncertain. One of its poems was later chosen for Nikita, a South African poetry anthology giving voice to survivors of abuse and violence. Baruch is available again today, with a refreshed cover, as a digital edition.

Die Kersbelofte
Zaskia's biggest writing project yet — her first full-length novel, an Afrikaans Christmas romance written from the heart. Die Kersbelofte follows a promise made under falling snow and string lights. Currently in its final edits, with a release hoped for this December, Lord willing.

Why Wish?
Born from a single prompt pulled from a hat at a writing workshop, Why Wish? became the first complete story Zaskia ever wrote — and the first her own children fell in love with. Her brother hand-illustrated every page; years later, technology helped bring fresh colour to his artwork. After winning a Print on Demand competition, Why Wish? became a published book, and has since been translated into Afrikaans. A gentle reminder to young hearts that faith is far more powerful than simply making wishes.
