Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

I want you to be happy with anything you buy from me. This policy explains how refunds and returns work for each kind of purchase. It sits alongside my Terms of Use, and it doesn’t take away any rights you have under South African consumer law.

Ebooks (digital downloads)

Ebooks are delivered instantly after purchase through Payhip. Because the download is made available to you right away, ebook sales are final and non-refundable once the file has been delivered. By completing your purchase, you agree to receive the download immediately.

The one exception: if something goes wrong on my side — you were charged but couldn’t download your book, received the wrong file, or the file is faulty — please contact me and I’ll put it right, with a working copy or a refund.

Physical books through a retailer

If you buy a printed book through a retailer such as Takealot, your order, delivery, and returns are handled under that retailer’s own policy. Please use their returns process for anything to do with a physical order placed on their store.

Books ordered directly from me

If you order a book directly from me by WhatsApp or email, and it arrives damaged, faulty, or isn’t what you ordered, let me know within 14 days of receiving it and I’ll arrange a replacement or a refund. To keep things simple, please include your proof of payment and, where relevant, a photo of the problem.

How to reach me

For any refund or return request, email me at pagesbyzaskia@gmail.com, message me on WhatsApp at +27 76 300 6485, or use the contact page. I’ll always do my best to sort things out kindly and fairly.
