Why Wish?

A storybook about wishing, hope & faith, ages 4–8

Born from a single prompt pulled from a hat at a writing workshop, Why Wish? became the first complete story Zaskia ever wrote — and the first her own children fell in love with. Her brother hand-illustrated every page; years later, technology helped bring fresh colour to his artwork. After winning a Print on Demand competition, Why Wish? became a published book, and has since been translated into Afrikaans. A gentle reminder to young hearts that faith is far more powerful than simply making wishes.
